Erosion products manufactured with natural, synthetic or a mix of both fibers woven together and held with photodegradable, biodegradable and permanent netting. RECPs are used primarily to provide effective sediment and erosion control, enhance re-vegetation and slow water runoff. RECPs are used in channel and ditch linings, slopes, culvert inlets and outfalls, riverbanks, as well as many other applications.
Short Term – Products are used in applications that are 2:1 or less gradient and need to last around 3-12 months. They are manufactured with straw and excelsior and are available in plastic or biodegreable netting
Extended Term – Products are used in steeper applications typically 1:5 or 1:1 or less and need to last 24-36 months. They are manufactured with a blend of straw/coconut, 100% coconut and excelsior and are available in plastic or biodegradable netting.
